The omnipresence of social media is a reality that schools cannot escape. However, it brings not only positive aspects: bullying, which used to occur mainly at school, now follows students to their homes. They have no respite, and cutting off all contact on social media is often unthinkable for them.

School counselors now have to manage incidents that occur outside of school and sometimes require police assistance.

The Anti-Troll Kit was created to help school counselors and police services manage cases of cyberbullying differently.

For primary school students, the Anti-Troll Kit offers awareness videos to help them better understand social media and navigate more safely. With simplicity and flexibility, you can adapt the Anti-Troll Kit to your reality.

Guides and information sheets

The Anti-Troll Kit is designed for students aged 8 to 17. It has been created for easy and flexible use. You can adapt the Anti-Troll Kit to the reality of your school environment. Everything is available in both French and English.

For students aged 8 to 11, 6 educational capsules are presented on the website. Additionally, a PowerPoint presentation can be delivered by a school police officer or a school counselor.

For students aged 12 to 17, you can use the information available on the website, but the participation of your municipal police service is necessary for the awareness approach, which is an alternative to filing a police report.

The Anti-Troll Kit is also free for police services, and a PowerPoint presentation is available for educator police officers to raise students’ awareness about the legal consequences of cyberbullying. Young people will also learn how to use the Anti-Troll Kit effectively.
