Send a warning link
The way it works is simple:
Someone contacts you and crosses the line. You can then use the warning link.
Simply copy and paste the link below into your conversation.
When you see the warning on your screen, you hope that the cyberbully will understand that they have gone too far and that continuing is a bad idea.
By giving them this warning, you are sending them a clear message that you do not accept their behaviour and that you may decide to take further action that could have more serious consequences for them. Once you’ve sent them the warning link, I suggest you take a screenshot and then leave the discussion.
It’s important to know that the police won’t be aware that you’ve sent this warning and that they won’t be monitoring your communications or those of the cyberbully.
So, if the situation continues or escalates, or if you become worried about your safety, it’s very important that you contact someone at your school (e.g., a psychoeducator, a special education technician or the person in charge of the anti-bullying and anti-violence plan), the police educator or your local police force for help.
